About Founder/CEO

As the founder and CEO of VA North Star, Rohit Ahuja brings over two decades of global IT Consulting experience, working with clients in the USA, UK, and India. He has vast experience in business development and managing large-scale Financial Services, Banking, Insurance, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain domains. With his cyber security venture Eventus Securities SA (a JV between VA North Star and Eventus Securities India), his vision is to bring the best cyber security services into South Africa and delight customers with the experience of its excellent global delivery capabilities. An entrepreneur by nature, he operates as an advisor/buddy with a fail (read as ‘learn’) fast philosophy.

In the past, Rohit has worked with Accenture Consulting for seven years, where he built global partnerships with clients in the US, managed strategic clients, and developed GTM etc., for insurance markets focusing on tier 1 and tier 2 segments. Before that, he worked with HCL and NIIT, where he developed a Center of Excellence for two leading insurance platforms, increased sales by 400% and the team to 250 people. Rohit himself is a certified AWS Cloud practitioner (2021), with an executive course in Digital Transformation from Columbia University (2019) and an MBA from India (1999)
